This afternoon I was finishing my days ride a looking for a camping spot. I was hoping to find a natural wind screen. I spotted a seemingly vacant building in the middle of nowhere and thought I could pitch the tent on it’s leeward side. I’d heard there were travel cabins in remote northern areas. It turns out this cabin is just that. It was built in 1971 for research project and is now free to use and share. I slept well inside the cabin and out of the wind.
Ken => very cool.
barbara greenberg => That's interesting and a nice treat for you to have a little cabin..
