Since crossing the pass the temperature has dropped quite a bit. This morning was cold with frost. The has road flattened somewhat but there are still many small hills, some with short steep climbs. The road conditions vary greatly but are mostly rough dirt and gravel with some chip sealed sections.
Tonight I’m camped beside the Sag River. The river water is clear, clean, and cold. A fisherman stopped by an was quickly catching Arctic grayling. He released them because he was interested in larger ones.
