I arrived today at the Arctic Circle. I was a little disappointed in that I expected snowmen holding hands, standing on a dotted line, with sundials for hats. In actuality there is nothing more than a sign.
For today’s ride the sun was shining all day and by afternoon it was rather warm, 75ish, I’d guess. The road was rough pavement with gravel in some sections. The challenge was the continual up and down steep hills.
