Today I arrived in Hyder, Alaska. Hyder is a short distance from it’s sister city Stewart, BC. There are only about 100 full-time residents. I visited the general store and stocked up on some supplies. While there I enjoyed meeting Wes the store’s owner who was full of interesting stories about his life in Alaska. My ride was out to the Salmon Glacier. The road was unpaved and definitely challenging with a 3700 ft vertical climb over about 12 miles. I was rewarded with fantastic views of the mountains and glacier.
Ken => Either that's a great fake background or you're really in Alaska. Wow.
