I woke up to clearing skies and made my way back to Chilliwack where I had been last Friday. I needed to resupply my food stocks. In addition I noticed that my brake pads were wearing thin because of the steep gritty road I’d been riding the last few days.
I stopped at Pedal/Sport and met Dan, the manager, who not only helped getting me new pads but also help find a map & an RV park.
I left Chilliwack, the weather was perfect, and I headed to Trans-Canada #1. TC1 is a fast highway with speed limit of 100 kph, but it is a bike route too and incorporates a nice wide bike lane. It also has beautiful scenery all around but at bicycle speed I probably see it differently than those in autos.
