Today rained the entire day which made my backtracking slow. In hindsight I probably should have asked about the mountain pass before taking this route. However in double-hindsight I’m glad I didn’t because I would have missed the spectacular scenery I witnessed.
I’ll be posting photos when I get Wi-Fi.
barbara greenberg => Dear Jeff..I love waterfalls too so I can relate..Is there a gene for that?Keep enjoying..It's why you went.Love you..Mom
Murray Greenberg => It strikes me at this time that there are two "things" that are utterly beyond my ken.The first is that you could be in such good spirits upon realizing that your only alternative was to backtrack 40 miles in the rain to an alternate route; not with standing the fact that you will see everything for the second time.The second amazing thing is, that after viewing the loaded bike picture, that you are able to pedal it at all....let alone on an unpaved road in the rain. A four wheel 400 H.P. pick-up would have been my guess for proper transportation.Love you.Dad
Cora => It's a good thing that you decided to take your trip in the summer - can't imagine what you would have faced otherwise...at least, snow is pretty although COLD...and wet, as is rain...Glad that you enjoyed such wonderful views and can't wait to see photos...however, that backtracking must be difficult, especially in the rain. On a positive note, you'll get to see the waterfalls again. Stay safe and warm and in touch as much as you can. Miss you!!
